ARRIVING SAFELY

Oberstdorf is in the very South of Germany at 815 metres above sea level, to be more precise, it’s situated only 17 km away from the most Southern point of the boarder. The region of Oberallgäu is giving its best to present its stunning mountain ranges of the High Alpes on your journey here. Franks is centrally located in the village of Oberstdorf and can be easily accessed by car.

Your car can have a holiday as well with us, too: the village centre of Oberstdorf is only 400 metres away from Franks and is a mostly car-free zone. Whilst you take a walk around the village, your vehicle is safely parked in our underground, free of charge garage.

Arriving by car.
The nearest airport is the Allgäu Airport in Memmingen. Other airports in the area are Friedrichshafen, Stuttgart and Munich. For a charge we offer airport transfer to our guests, just let us know of your travel plans in advance.

Arriving by train.
There are various direct train lines arriving in Oberstdorf from most larger cities in Germany.

Shuttle Service.
Getting to Franks from the station.
We offer a special service to all our guest arriving by train: we will collect you at the train station in our exclusive limousine, simply give us enough notice regarding your time of arrival.

Arriving by plane.
